Do users know what they want? Sometimes. Do users know the best way to design a solution to address their problem? Sometimes.

I create experiences that go beyond sometimes meeting user needs to exceeding user expectations.

I put the whole human at the center. The whole human not only includes self-reported thoughts, feelings, needs, and behaviors, but also includes their cognitive and physical systems.

What may seem intuitive is often not, and what may appear visually pleasing is often not useable; thus, I strive to design experiences and solutions that are both grounded in end user data and inspired by research on human information processing and behavior, cognitive psychology, and human factors.
